THINGS TO DO
On the farm.....
Once Upon a Sheep Farm Tour
Our Once Upon a Sheep Farm tour is your gentle introduction to life on our working Merino property. It’s a slow, welcoming wander through the rhythms of the farm — the kind of experience that lets you breathe out, look around, and feel what it’s really like to live here.
You’ll meet the sheep who shape our days, step inside the shearing shed where generations of woolgrowers have worked, and hear the stories that tie this land to the people who care for it. It’s relaxed, personal, and full of the small details that make farm life both ordinary and extraordinary.
This tour is perfect for guests who want a grounded, authentic look at the farm without needing to go far — a chance to understand the place you’re staying, the animals around you, and the quiet magic of rural life.
The "Meet the Maker" farm Tour
(An extended, deeper version of the Once Upon a Sheep Farm Tour)
For guests who want to go further, our Meet the Maker tour expands the experience by taking you deeper into the property. We hop in the farm vehicle and drive through paddocks, laneways, and working areas not accessible on foot, giving you a true behind‑the‑scenes look at how a Merino wool farm operates.
Along the way, you’ll learn how wool is grown, harvested, classed, and prepared — not as a lecture, but as a conversation about the craft, the challenges, and the pride behind every fleece. You’ll see the landscapes that shape our seasons, the mobs of sheep moving across the hills, and the places where the day‑to‑day decisions of farming unfold.
It’s an immersive, story-rich experience for guests who want to understand not just what happens on a sheep farm, but why it matters — and what it means to live and work on this land.
